Partners, not users
The old web called people users. That word tells you everything. Here, there are none.
The old web called people users. That word tells you everything.
A user is something a platform counts. Tracks. Converts. Retargets. Churns. Reacquires. A user is a row in a dashboard, a session in an analytics tool, a body passing through a funnel.
That is not the web we are here to cover.
There are no users here.
There are readers. There are sources. There are builders. There are owners. There are operators. There are guests. There are people on the field.
And when the relationship is real — when someone brings signal, trust, work, risk, capital, creativity, distribution, attention, or truth — they are not a user.
They are a partner.
That word matters. A partner is not being used. A partner has standing. A partner can speak. A partner can question the rules. A partner can share in the upside. A partner can help make the game better.
The new web needs more partners
Not more hidden dashboards. Not more invisible tolls. Not more "free" systems where somebody else owns the meter. Not more platforms calling people users while quietly turning their work, traffic, pages, names, data, identity, and attention into someone else's yield.
The better web is bigger than that.
More players. Clearer rules. Bigger game. More partners.
UUEBCAST covers that shift. We cover the people, platforms, AI systems, domains, crawlers, pricing fights, ownership claims, and money flows reshaping the web. But the point is not just to watch the old game crack. The point is to help more people understand the new field while it is forming.
Because gorgeous does not happen when people are flattened into metrics.
Gorgeous happens when people have a role.
A reader can become a source.
A source can become a guest.
A builder can become an owner.
An owner can become a partner.
A partner can open the field for someone else.
That is the web worth building.
No users.
Partners on the field.
